Midland University, a private, Christian, liberal-arts college in Fremont, Nebraska, (just outside of metro Omaha) is seeking exceptional faculty members to teach Business Process Methodologies in our growing MBA program (in-person in Omaha and online). The class will run during the early summer term of 2022. Professionals with extensive practical experience and an interest in engaging students are encouraged to apply.

Courses will be offered in eight-week terms via asynchronous online modalities. The teaching duties will take place through a combination of recorded lectures online and correspondence with students through e-mail, discussion boards, and online office hours. Need to have: • A relevant master's degree • Extensive, relevant professional experience

  • Various agile related certifications; CSM, CSPO, CSP, PMI-ACP
  • Six Sigma Black Belt

Should demonstrate: • Interest and experience engaging students through a combination of in-person and online learning • The desire and availability to be quickly responsive to students

Nice to have: • A relevant doctorate

  • Teaching experience • Experience working with a learning management system such as Blackboard or Canvas to develop and deliver course content

This course will cover many different process and project methodologies designed to help organizations face these challenges. These methodologies include: Six Sigma (Yellow Belt Certification), Scrum, Lean, Kaizen, and TPS.
