Midland University, a private, Christian, liberal-arts college in Fremont, Nebraska (just outside of metro Omaha), is seeking an exceptional adjunct faculty member to teach Fundamentals of Oral Communication. Responsibilities include preparing and delivering lectures, providing timely feedback on written and oral assignments, and responding to student inquiries within 24-hours, meeting with them individually as needed. Courses meet in-person during the day. Courses are offered in 16-week terms. Terms begin in August and January.

Qualifications:

  • A master's degree in Communications or closely-related discipline is required
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional work experience; teaching at the college level or teaching / training adults is highly preferred
