Midland University, a private liberal-arts college in Fremont, Nebraska, (just outside of metro Omaha) is seeking an exceptional nursing faculty member with expertise in basic medical-surgical nursing for an adjunct position in the School of Nursing beginning August 2025.

Responsibilities will include but are not be limited to:
● Teaching clinical content to include simulation and skills lab
● Engaging students with innovative teaching practices that foster clinical judgment

Qualifications:
● Unencumbered Registered Nurse License in the state of Nebraska or Iowa
● Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or active pursuit of MSN degree
● Minimum of 2 years' experience in medical surgical nursing care
● Ability to meet clinical agency requirements, such as a background check, abuse check, drug
testing, CPR, immunizations, health care insurance, and etc.
● Passion for preparing nursing professionals with the knowledge and skills to enter the nursing
marketplace
● Ability to create relevant learning opportunities in the clinical setting that meet professional
expectations and standards

The ideal candidate will possess the following:
● Previous teaching experience in nursing education.
● Familiarity with Canvas or other Learning Management System that facilitates face to face,
hybrid, and online teaching modalities
● Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
● The ability to foster a positive work culture that encourages change and innovation
