Midland University is seeking an exceptional faculty member with expertise in Teacher Education for a full-time position beginning as soon as possible. The position will be open until filled. This position is both a teaching position and an administrative position within Midland's innovative Teacher Career Ladder Program with the following key tasks:
- Support adjunct instructors who teach in the program.
- Design semester course schedules.
- Teach courses in the program commensurate with teaching experience.
- Provide informational orientations to incoming cohorts.
- Mentor students through the program.
- Work closely with school district partnerships.
The program is located at the Omaha Midland location and courses are taught in the evenings. Highly qualified applicants will demonstrate ability to think innovatively, build competence in technology, and use engaging pedagogy to help students deepen their learning and broaden their perspectives.

Qualifications:
- A Master's Degree in Education is required, along with a teaching endorsement. A Ph.D. in education or Ed.D. is preferred.
- Evidence of effective teaching in a PK-6 and/or 7-12 setting is required; post-secondary teaching and or administration experience is preferred.
- Commitment to fostering a culturally diverse atmosphere for faculty, staff, and students.
- Creating dynamic and relevant learning opportunities both in and out of the classroom.
- A willingness to collaborate with colleagues.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to foster a collegial work environment that encourages change and innovation; and an ability to interact effectively and work productively, cooperatively, and collaboratively with a variety of individuals and groups.
